Val Starr is celebrating a milestone birthday on Sunday May 6 at the Powerhouse Pub in Folsom, CA from 3 to 6 PM. Along with her band, the Blues Rocket, all of our May and Taurus friends will be there to celebrate with us! This is one of our favorite places to play, and you know the house is going to be rockin' all afternoon long! Val's original California blues will be on full display, and she will be debuting her new song "We're Not Getting Older, We're Getting Better!" Her new rendition of "Big Boss Man, #MeToo" will be rolled out for everybody to sing along with, and of course, all of your favorites will be performed as well throughout the afternoon.
